This circa 1929 public school building needed repair of pediment and cornice. Spartan Construction, a masonry restoration company in NYC, contacted American Terracotta to see if we could help them get the ornamental work done while they focused on the repointing of the overall exterior brickwork. This was our third project with Spartan in the greater NYC area. Edison coatings provided the matching restoration mortar. We used a combination of techniques to accomplish the repair of both pediment and cornice.
