Every building owner or caretaker faces unique challenges in caring for their historic building. The aging process can affect the appearance and performance of a building exterior. Over time, ornamental elements can become stained, broken, or are missing.

American Terracotta can provide the personal attention your historic masonry deserves!

We assess the condition of key architectural features — facade/staircase/entry/portico, etc., and provide solutions to conserve your historic building.

We provide sensitive repointing, minor or major spalling or staining solutions, and repair or replacement of broken or missing elements.

Our goal is to help you achieve your goals and we do that by getting to know your building personally and treating it as if it were our own.

American Terracotta has over 20 years of experience in historic masonry restoration and reproduction. We strive to provide both a superior customer experience and tremendous value for our customers, and we are passionate about exceeding your expectations.

Clients include both private and public sector. We are familiar with grant and tax credit processes as well as working with state historic preservation standards and National Park Service guidelines.

Every building we handle becomes like an old friend that we learn to appreciate and respect. Let’s talk about your historic building. Send questions, photos, project goals, and we can start the conversation!
